About
Dr. Maria Cambraia is the Assistant Director for Research and International Affairs at the CNMS Dean's Office. In her role, she supports research-based training programs, scholarship programs, and science education research initiatives within the college. She also provides support and insight into international affairs. Dr. Cambraia serves as a research mentor for STEM BUILD at UMBC, an initiative focused on promoting diversity in the biomedical and behavioral sciences workforce as part of the NIH BUILD initiative. Prior to her current position, she held various roles, including Postdoctoral Visiting Fellow at the National Institute of Dental and Craniofacial Research (NIDCR/NIH) and Adjunct Assistant Professor in the Department of Human Science at Georgetown University.
